Should I take computer science engineering at IIT Mandi, Patna, Bhubaneswar, ISM Dhanbad or BITS Goa?

In these rapidly growing times, it would be stupid for anybody to assume that new colleges can never be better than old institutes. All the new IIT institutes located all over the country are growing at a really fast rate and have even surpassed many old as well as established institutes too.

Talking of a new college, IIT Patna is witnessed to be creating a unique league out of itself. It has grown rapidly in the last few years. The Computer Science Engineering department as well, it has well flourished and made its mark since the college was established. In all these years, the institute has been witnessed to bag a lot of achievements in its name. It is considered to be a phenomenal growth shown by IIT Patna in its last ten years.

IIT Bhubaneshwar is just like IIT Patna. Maybe a little better with the quality of faculty provided to its student but its placement rate is just as same as IIT Patna. Both these institutes are located in prime cities that provide shelter to the headquarters of big firms. All these factors eventually add up to the high placement rates offered by both of these firms. IIT Bhubaneshwar also provides a brilliant coding environment for its students. It’s almost the same at IIT Mandi as all the second-gen IITs provide somewhat the same environment and placement rate to their students.

As far as I know about IIT ISM Dhanbad, Computer Science Engineering has a very unique environment. The department is pretty active with its work and also conducts several events as well as activities throughout the year. These events primarily focus on helping the institute’s students improve. The coding club of the college also provides its students with informative classes to help them learn better techniques and skills.

Like any other BITS Pilani college, BITS Goa offers the same fair placement rate as any other BITS. The college’s education facility is quite good and the atmosphere provided is also very student-friendly. Pursuing Computer Science Engineering at this institute is a fair enough choice as the institute and the degree, both carry pretty good value.
